Dakota Forge Energy – Privacy Policy

Dakota Forge Energy is operated by Paul Adam, doing business as Dakota Forge AI, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
What we collect
Electricity usage data you authorize through Xcel Energy's Green Button Connect, or a Green Button file you send us. This includes interval usage, meter and account identifiers, service address, and billing details. Your name, email, and phone number (if you choose text summaries).
How we use it
Only to show your usage, project your bill, and send the summaries you signed up for.
What we never do
We never sell or rent your data. We share it only with your explicit permission, for example if you ask us to connect you with a solar installer. We never use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
While your account is connected. If you disconnect through Xcel or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days.
Security
Data is stored encrypted on secured servers and devices. Access is limited to the operator. Service providers we use to run the app (hosting and email delivery) process data only on our behalf.
Your choices
Disconnect anytime in your Xcel Energy account. Email paul@dakotaforge.ai to access or delete your data.
Changes
We'll email you before any material change to this policy.
